Reward
RecycleLink is the only curbside recycling service in Lincoln, Nebraska that rewards you RecycleBank Points for recycling. See our long list of local rewards below.
For each pound you recycle you earn 2.77 RecycleBank Points. Your Points can be used to redeem discounts at hundreds of local and national stores and restaurants.
The average RecycleLink curbside recycler recycles over 80 lbs per month earning over 220 Points each month. Though rewards vary depending on the reward you choose, using your RecycleBank Points you can redeem over $20 in discounts each month.
You can choose to spend your Points each month or accumulate your Points to spend when you are ready. Your Points don’t expire as long as you are a RecycleLink customer.
Once you are a RecycleLink curbside recycling customer and have had your cart for at least 10 business days you can activate your RecycleBank account by using the activation code that was mailed to you or by confirming your address at RecycleBank.com. All of your RecycleBank Points earned prior to activation will be waiting for you.
How do I get my Rewards?
Once you have activated and logged onto your RecycleBank account you can choose from any of the hundreds of rewards available. You may search by categories such as: Groceries, Apparel, Entertainment, Restaurants, Donations, etc. or alphabetically. Select your rewards based on the number of Points required and available in your account. After you select your rewards, they will be sent to you within days.
How many points do I need to get a reward?
Points required vary by reward, though, most start at 50 to 100 Points.
What can I expect to get with my rewards?
Since the Point requirements vary the reward, values vary as well. Most commonly the rewards require 50 to 100 Points which can be valued between $5 and $10. Some rewards are buy one get one free offers or a percentage off a purchase.
